  • Someone please tell me you took pictures of the snow you got today. We in Greenville, of course, only got rain. Cold. Nasty. Wet. Rain.

    Boo hiss.

  • I think I finally set up a semester where I actually enjoy (well, almost) all of my classes. I chose courses that I was interested in rather than being obligated to take certain foundations classes, etc. The only class that I could see me tugging my brain stem out of my ear for would be my art history class. The professor kinda makes me want to shrivel up in a ball and roll out the window. No lie. I'm going to have to find some way of entertaining myself while still learning in there.

Today was a lovely day. Diana and I set up camp in the middle of the lawn behind our dorm and worked on homework for about an hour or so. The wind was a bit much, but I'm not gonna complain. Being able to go out on a warm day in mid-January? Preposterous!

Things are going really well in my life right now. I like where I'm at. Now, if only I could figure out what I want to be for at least the next ten years of my life....

  • oof.

Hooray. Today is starting off to a gloooorious start, but I don't want to let it ruin my day. I have the pleasure of working at 8:30 for three hours of absolute boredom. In the midst of said workday, I checked my bank account and found that I had just received the honor of my first overdraft fee. Thank yoooou Panera. I wish I were smarter with money...and also had enough to cover my expenses. I still have to buy books and supplies and have about 12 bucks to my name. I'm just praying that my excess money comes in soon so that I can cover things that need to be covered...and pretty darn soon.

    Eek.

  • So...another semester here at ECU. I'm finding that some things are different but a lot of them are the same.

I'm pretty sure I like it that way.

  • Two of the best/worst/awkward pick-up lines I've ever seen:

    1. "If I found you dead, I wouldn't bury you right away."

    2. "Hey baby...you wanna go halfsies on a bastard child?"

  • Hooray concerts, family, and a good feeling about a certain "oh-seven".

  • I'm slowly/almost abruptly starting to realize that my family is soon to jump in all sorts of directions. I won't see Becky for 5 months and Rach is wanting to move to New York.

Still, I cannot help but feel like everythings going to be okay when we all giggle on the futon in the basement while watching Memoirs of a Geisha.

    "Darky McDarkdark"

Christmas is good. Christ is good. Good is good.

    ...

    Good.

  • I'm officially home for the holidays. I've already been put to work at...well...work, and will end up getting a bit of money to help deplete my depletion of money from Christmas gifts. Rach decorated the house all nice and pretty...all festive and whatnot. We're soon to decorate the tree, so that should be fun, even though we're both pooped. Boo, you lack of sleep. *shakes fist*

Ever feel like you have too much hope in something? There's one area in particular in my life where I keep giving chances upon chances and always blow off the negative things that may happen because of this "something". Even when I'm pissed at this "something", I still find myself finding reasons that might possibly explain why this "something" happened. There are times when I just simply want to give up and never worry about again while the other times I feel like it's worth keeping for the good times it brings. Is this bad? I need input.

For the longest time I couldn't figure out if it was input or imput.
